In this workshop, we will look at our own personal relationships with nature and consider what we think of as nature. We will be exploring how we feel about, connect and move through the world around us. It doesn't matter whether you don't have a garden or access to outdoor space or even whether you can get outside at all - we will be using the everyday and domestic as inspiration and thinking about how we can use nature to learn more about ourselves.
Elspeth Wilson is a writer and poet who is interested in how our identity impacts our relationship with nature, and writing about nature from the perspective of the every day and the domestic. She has been shortlisted for Canongate's Nan Shepherd prize and Penguin's Write Now Editorial programme, and is currently working on her first book.
