Under The Mulberry Tree: A Contemporary Uyghur Anthology is excited to announce the May 1st release of the Revised Edition.
With the outpouring of community, institutional and educational support, we will now have hard copies of the newest edition available to be purchased online. This revised edition will include new works, contributor interviews, editorial notes, new translations of works and more.
Under The Mulberry Tree has been a special project, bridging the gap between Uyghur and Central Asian writers, creators and artists. The anthology acts as a space where the 'I' is centred, a form of testimony and witness to the on-going genocide of the Uyghur and Kazakh people in Weten.
