Introducing Mansur, 19, a student and footballer based in Canada!
1. What are you passionate about?
Football, also known as soccer in my area. Calling it a hobby isn’t enough to justify how much I love it it’s basically my life. It’s the best sport out there and its influence on the world is quite unique unlike anything else. It has the power to bring people together and make us feel we are one.
2. How have you spent the last year?
Last year was full of changes. I went from playing in the best form of my life in football to adapting to a new country. Overall it was a challenge and in fact it was one of the best experiences in my life. I got to learn a new language and become twice the player I was.
3. What is the most important lesson you’ve learnt recently?
To never give up when things go wrong. In life, we all go through setbacks and bad days and we sometimes feel doubtful of ourselves but, mistakes are signs that show you’re learning and even if you fall ten times, you stand up eleven times because that’s when we truly become the best of ourselves
