Introducing Adila, 19, an International Relations and Arts (Psychology) student at The University of Adelaide in Adelaide!
1. How would you describe the city you live in?
Adelaide is quiet and small, compared to other cities in Australia. This makes it perfect for small communities like ours to connect with each other and stay in contact without spending half a day travelling.
2. How have you spent the last year?
The last year was spent studying and travelling interstate and overseas for conferences and programs. I also spent the last year learning about other human rights issues around the world and spreading awareness about Uyghurs.
3. What are your short term goals?
My short term goals for the summer holidays is getting a better job and a start on a couple projects for People of East Turkistan. I’d also like to get a better relationship with other turk communities and communities that can relate to our situation
