Faruk Parhat is a Software Engineer at Microsoft Japan who recently received the E+D Leadership Team Award from Microsoft for his contributions to Windows. Congrats! He has worked on a number of programs at Microsoft, including Skype Office and now Windows.
Faruk completed his Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (2017) and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (2016) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His wrote his master’s thesis on “Design of a Real-Time Monocular Depth Mapping System using Variation of Focal Plane and Pixel Focus Measure.”
Faruk enjoys building things –applications, websites, hardware and software. His goal is to build something that truly leaves a positive impact on this world. You can do it Faruk!
